F&J black tie wedding was in September 2024 at Firle Place; we first heard from them in November 2022 and loved hearing about their exciting engagement!
It was wonderful to see their vision come to life — from the initial ideas and beautifully organised Pinterest boards to the final touches on the day. Their love of Italian food, timeless style, and thoughtfully curated table settings made this a particularly joyful brief to work on. We had lots of fun helping towards this brief and getting to know more about their various passions and hobbies, and zest for life!
From epic drapery, a classic black, white and blush inspired colour palette and some amazing finishing touches, everyone was blown away by the attention to detail including the bride and groom themselves!
Drinks were flowing from the get go, with a hibiscus champagne tower, homemade lemonade stands and flavoured water stations, and plenty of AIX rosé available.
They went for a horse shape style table plan, around 65 guests attended including Francesca’s 90 year old grandfather (See photo here, who hit an astounding 136k likes on his reel walking her down the aisle:)

Food is a big part of their lives, from their travels around the world and not to forget Josh’s love of doughnuts! They ended up having a few bespoke canapés mixed in with some from our menu.
To start the Italian feast, the sicilian beef ragu which is a slightly heartier starter (and judging by the empty plates) went down well. The main was a bespoke choice of theirs, chicken printanier and gnocchi for the vegetarians followed by a delightful mini trio of desserts.
As evening fell, the celebrations continued with a relaxed menu of pizza, pasta, and churros — the perfect way to round off a joyful and unforgettable day.
