Cooking Courses In Sussex

Whether you are a kitchen novice or a cooking enthusiast…. Join us to learn and have fun at our private cookery lessons and workshops in Henfield, Near Brighton.

Join one of our pre-organised courses and meet new people who share your enthusiasm for food or book our school exclusively for your own use. Classes are kept small to offer the highest quality experience in a friendly, humble and relaxed environment. Our courses are designed to be informative, comprehensive and of course, tons of fun!

Forthcoming Cookery Classes

We only run our non-exclusive courses with very small groups – a maximum of 10 people on each course. For Exclusive bookings we can look at higher numbers, depending on the style of the course.

Pasta Masterclass

Duration: half day

Learn how to make the perfect pasta. Our chefs will take you on a journey through different types of pasta, shapes and fillings and train you to use a pasta machine to great effect.

Full-Day Cookery Class

Duration: full day

Cook a three course meal from raw ingredients and learn how to plate like a pro. Our most popular class which covers an interesting range of techniques throughout the day.

Half-Day Cooking Course

Duration: half day

Cook a two course meal from raw ingredients and learn how to plate theim like a pro.

Charcuterie Cookery Class

Duration: 5 hours

We’ll teach you how to make a selection of charcuterie using different cuts of meat, for example chorizo, bresoala, salami and coppa. When it’s finished curing, we’ll slice it and you can collect! Alternatively we can post this to you at cost in special refrigerated packaging.

Knife Skills Cookery Course

Duration: 3 hours

Learn about the tools of our trade, how to sharpen your knives professionally and use them to create a simple dish using all the techniques needed in the kitchen. Bring your own knives along if you wish!

Gastro HQ is a hive of activity, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our kitchen team at Gastro love nothing more than spending time with local, seasonal produce, getting creative, and coming up with innovative menus. Our relationships with a broad range of unique venues and event spaces allows us to pair these menus with their surroundings, resulting in a truly unique dining and event experience.
