Catering, to us, is not just the provision of food. Knowing how complex planning your event can be we aim to minimise the pressure so that you thoroughly enjoy the experience. We are available at all times to assist in the planning of your event. We feel it is important that if you want to discuss your event with someone, you can, and that’s why we assign your own personal event coordinator for your big day.

Aaron has a wealth of experience in the catering & hospitality industry having worked in some of the most prestigious and beautiful locations throughout Surrey and Sussex. From private dinners at homes to gala balls and VIP clients, Aaron’s expertise will leave any client delighted with the Gastro service.

Olivia Douglass Bailey

Operations Director

Olivia is a highly experienced operations and personnel manager. She is responsible for overseeing planning and logistics across company as when as coordinating and training our wonderful teams of staff. Olivia is likely to be your main point of contact on the lead up to your event. Feel free to call and ask for Olivia anytime.

Events Manager

Jessica joined the Gastro team at the beginning of 2017, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. Branching from a degree in Event Management and having completed a placement in South Africa, she has also contributed many years to some of Sussex’s best restaurants and hotels.

Head Chef

Mark is the latest addition to the Gastro team, joining us from renowned London caterers Rhubarb Events. Mark has a wealth of Head Chef experience in events, hotels, and high-end restaurants – experience gained through hard work, dedication, and a unique creative spark.

Paul Nuttall

Paul Nuttall

BDM and Second Chef

Paul joined Gastro team in June this year, coming fresh from a two year spell as Kitchen Manager at an award-winning mid-Sussex pub. He also boasts seven years experience in journalism and website editing, and will be looking to combine the two in exploring new business opportunities for Gastro (whilst still occasionally donning the whites!).

Marketing Manager

Sophie heralds from a broad and varied background in both administrative and customer service roles, with a heavy focus on business relations and social media marketing. This experience, coupled with hands-on event management here at Gastro, gives Sophie an in-depth understanding of how to make all of Gastro’s activities sing from a marketing perspective.

Our kitchen team at Gastro love nothing more than spending time with local, seasonal produce, getting creative, and coming up with innovative menus. Our relationships with a broad range of unique venues and event spaces allows us to pair these menus with their surroundings, resulting in a truly unique dining and event experience. Our Gastro Pop-Ups are going to take this experience on the road to a venue near you, and we’ve got some fantastic pop-up restaurants lined up
